Gunel Akhundlu

Gunel initially majored in Architecture Design at the Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Arts before becoming a graphic designer and modern artist. She completed a master's degree in Izmir with a focus on graphic design, and since 2013 she has been making conceptual art. Her artworks were later included in the London-based publication "Pagan Dawn."
Since then, artist has participated in numerous regional and international exhibitions, including those in Baku, Istanbul, and Yarat, as well as the Ahmed Adnan Saygun Sanat Merkezi in Izmir. She is the founder of GA. Pattern Gallery and Absinthe Art Studio. Gunel is currently employed in the field of education as an IB/MYP Design technology teacher, Project-event organizer, and STEAM coordinator.
