Mammadova Rufana is an artist who works with painting, and illustrations, advances in the field of digital art, organizes performances, and prepares an exposition for future exhibitions in which she participates. Interest in her technique originates in 2019. Being an innovator and manifest in the field of collaboration of techniques and styles, the author of many poems, the artist does not like to talk about her work.
"As a child, when my mind strove to gain knowledge, my mother bought me biographical books of various artists. Leafing through them and being inspired by the work of Basquiat, Kandinsky, Dali, etc., I wanted to find out about the practical side of art. I realized that I would definitely be an artist! My grandfather helped me with this."
Indeed, the influence of her grandfather on the future education of Rufana later accompanied her in her successes.
In 2021, Rufana joined the creative association Modern Trinity and later became not only an artist but also a creative director of the project. In the same year, she takes part in the first traveling exhibition of Azerbaijan and exhibits in Ismayilli and Gabala.
In 2022, the artist, together with Parviz Kazimli, exhibited her personal exhibition "Manifestation" ("Təzahür") at Salaam Cinema Baku. Her knowledge in the field of architecture and design helps to build a kind of exposition, where there are notes of the artist's work.
In 2023, Rufana begins her collaboration with the art space "Yavash Yavashda", where she arranges the exhibition "The Absurdity of Silence", the main component of which is the artist's sketches and illustrations dedicated to trips to her favorite cities of Azerbaijan. The exhibition was accompanied by animations and video performances.
At the moment, Rufana Mammadova is actively involved in the new projects of Modern Trinity.
