Laman Rahimova is a photographer based in Azerbaijan, with a passion for capturing the human form through the lens of her camera. While she has been taking photographs for over a decade, she has been focusing on nude photography for the past three years, with the goal of changing the way people view this genre of nude photography in Azerbaijan and beyond.
Laman's vision is that nude photography is a form of art that needs to be appreciated and respected. She believes that by capturing the beauty and vulnerability of the human form, she can convey a deeper message about our shared humanity. Her goal is to challenge the misconception that nude photography is solely associated with erotica or pornography, and instead show its true artistic value.
In her work, Laman does not rely on retouching or digital manipulation, preferring to let her creations speak for themselves as they are captured in-camera. She utilizes her favorite portrait lenses and the play of light and shadow to craft evocative and impactful images. Through her background in psychology and sexology, Laman creates a comfortable and relaxed environment for her subjects to express themselves freely, resulting in images that are both intimate and authentic.
